Crayola coordinates shorter-term projects with Affinity’s established clients, such as upgrades and migrations. Her goal is to connect clients and consultants with the information they need for a project to succeed. Crayola’s professional journey began with a role as a public librarian working with kids and teens. Very quickly, she realized that her organizational skills and analytical insight into processes gave her a leg up to achieving better results. Eventually, she found that some of the most satisfying parts of her job were arranging projects rather than directly completing them. She looked around her life and realized she had been coordinating all kinds of projects in her career and hobbies. She’s proud to bring those organizational talents to Affinity.
Crayola’s favorite part of her job is organizing and tracking in software. She loves checking off a checklist and marking status changes! Her superpower is her insight into understanding a whole process.
Outside of work, Crayola loves to knit, sew costumes, play video games, and not surprisingly, read books. (Even after leaving library jobs, she is an avid library user with cards to five different public libraries!) She also participates annually in the University of Chicago Scavenger Hunt with an alumni team, where she is often found in various kinds of leadership roles.
